Following welcome feedback from colleagues, a few minor amendments have been made
For the oral questioning element of the Level 2 Bricklayer Standard, a portfolio comprising of approximately 15 pieces of evidence is required. This is not assessed but sets the context (where appropriate) for the choice of questions and is primarily used to provide a point of reference for the apprentice. This example of a portfolio template may be useful to tutors and apprentices in ensuring appropriate evidence is submitted.
In its creation, I have referenced only the skills and behaviour criteria listed in the bricklayer assessment plan for the oral questioning component of EPA, atomised the statements and formed evidence sheets that address each criteria/statement. It is therefore not EPAO specific. It can be downloaded as a word document so you can personalise, amend and adapt as required.
